A Story with a Happy Ending Una Historia con Final Feliz August - Agosto 2007

Sayco is a 7 year old boxer dog who was sent to a despicable place for doing his job, defending his home. He attacked a person. The local Pound Hall was called and he was removed from his home. His family never visited him while there and he was practically starved to death until The Canadian Voice for Animals - Argentina rescued him from that living hell and gave him a second chance. Sayco es un boxer de 7 años que fue llevado a un lugar deleznable por hacer su trabajo, defender su hogar. Atacó una persona.  Personal del Antirrábico Municipal lo sacó de su casa. Su familia  jamás lo visitó mientras permaneció en ese lugar y casi muere de hambre hasta que The Canadian Voice for Animals - Argentina lo rescató de ese infierno y le dió una segunda oportunidad.

This was Sayco at the very beginning, when he had a normal life. Este era Sayco al principio cuando tenía una vida normal.

This is Sayco after two months at the local Pound Hall. Look at his tiny and malnourished body !!!!!!. Este es Sayco luego de dos meses en el Antirrábico Municipal. Miren su pequeño y desnutrido cuerpito !!!!.

After Sayco was fully recovered we decided to try to find a loving home for him. Unfortunately we did not succeed because he does not like strangers very much . Poor Sayco, he has not had an easy life and that left deep scars in his spirit. So we decided to bring him to our Sanctuary - The Eagle's Nest. We had to invest a lot of money to build his own place where he can have the life he never had but he truly deserves. Luego de que Sayco se recuperara, decidimos tratar de encontrar un hogar para él. Desafortunadamente no tuvimos éxito porque a Sayco no le gustan los extraños. Pobre Sayco, no tuvo una vida fácil y ésto dejó profundas cicatrices en su espíritu. Decidimos entonces traerlo a nuestro Santuario - El Nido del Águila. Hemos invertido mucho dinero en construirle su propio espacio, donde él pueda tener la vida que nunca tuvo pero que merece de verdad.

The Beginning...... El Comienzo ....

This is the place where we decided to build Sayco's home in our Sanctuary. We needed to build his place isolated from our other kids. Este es el lugar donde decidimos construir la casa de Sayco en nuestro Santuario. Necesitabamos un lugar aislado de nuestros otros bebés.

Almost Done.... Casi terminada .....

Sayco is still at the vet's, he's arriving at our sanctuary The Eagle's Nest next week. But we have been unable to cover all the expenses so far, so we are requesting your help. Your economic support will be greatly appreciated. Sayco todavía está en la clínica, estará llegando la semana que viene a nuestro santuario: El Nido del Águila. UPDATE: The day we went to pick up Sayco to bring him to our sanctury a miracle took place. A lady and her son went to the vet's, the little boy fell in love with Sayco. It was love at first sight. Sayco started licking  him and the boy couldn't stop hugging and kissing Sayco. They immediately decided to adopt him. After so many years of Sayco being neglected and mistreated and he finally was going to a loving home.  We feel sad and happy at the same time,  Sayco is not coming to live at our sanctuary but he has found a loving family who did not hesitate one moment and decided to give him a second chance. El día que fuimos a recoger a Sayco para traerlo a nuestro santuario, un milagro ocurrió. Una señora y su pequeño hijo fueron a la veterinaria, el niño se enamoro de Sayco. Fue amor a primera vista. Sayco comenzó a lamerlo y el pequeñito no dejaba de abrazarlo y besarlo. Immediatamento decidieron adoptarlo. Luego de tantos años de haber estado descuidado y maltratado iba finalmente a un hogar amoroso. Nos sentimos tristes y contentos al mismo tiempo. Sayco no vendrá a vivir a nuestro santuario pero ha encontrado una familia que lo adora y que no titubeo un solo momento y decidió darle una segunda oportunidad. In short we will place Sayco's pictures in his new home. En breve colocaremos las fotos de Sayco en su nuevo hogar.
