Alabama, su historia

Few days ago we received a phone call requesting our help to rescue a mare. Another mare we thought. We urged to the place, a despicable spot full of garbage and houses made out  of tin and cardboard. There she was tied to a small tree, no water or food, with a deep sadness in the eyes, she looked at us not knowing we were there to free her. To give her a second chance. To feel the hapiness of being loved and cared and not having to work ever again.

 

Hace unos días recibimos una llamada telefónica solicitando nuestra ayuda para rescatar una yegüita. Otra más pensamos. Nos dirigimos al lugar, un lugar espantoso, lleno de basura con casas de lata y cartón. Ahí estaba ella, atada a un arbolito, sin comida ni agua, con una gran tristeza en sus ojos, nos miró sin saber que habíamos llegado hasta ahí para liberarla, para darle una segunda oportunidad, para que sintiera la alegría de ser amada y cuidada y no tener que volver a trabajar nunca más.

Take a look at her wounds all over the body, The back left leg as twice the size of the other one, she was unable to step with that leg, therefore she was beaten to force her to keep on pulling a heavy cart. She had severe wounds under the chin and in the neck.

Esta es Alabama el día que fue rescatada. Miren las heridas en todo su cuerpo. Su pata trasera izquierda, el doble del tamaño de la otra. No podía apoyarla y por ello era golpeada para obligarla a seguir tirando del carro. Tenía una herida grave en la barbilla y en el cuello.

Aunque su pierna tardará en curarse, la condición general de Alabama mejora día a día. Esta foto la muestra llena de energía y ahora ya puede apoyar la pierna nuevamente.

Una vez más tenemos que agradecer a la Policía de Entre Ríos y en especial a las Comisarías 7 y 8 por su dedicación y entrega a la causa animal.
