MEET THUNDER

THUNDER'S FIRST DAY OF FREEDOM...HE HAD A GREAT TIME ROLLING IN THE DIRT

FINALLY STANDING AND HAVING A NICE SNACK OF ALFALFA SPROUTS
OCTOBER 28/09
Today the chief of one of the police precincts was driving to his precinct when he saw a cart being pulled by a poor horse running at full speed because the people were mercilessly beating him. The chief managed to stop them and saw that in the cart there were six children (less than 12 years old) torturing the poor animal. Imagine his indignation; he requested police back-up to take the horse and the children to the police station. The children's parents showed up from nowhere so he pressed charges against them for animal abuse and thank God he did that because the juvenile judge always return the horses to these miscreants. but in this case and thanks to the chief of the precinct the criminal judges always rule in favour of the horses.
So we now have Thunder at the 7th precinct if you look at the pictures where he is standing you'll see the knees of his front legs, they are deformed due to chronic malnutrition, arthrosis and from pulling heavy loads most of his life. The vet's report says that he MUST NOT WORK ever again; he needs food, rest and love for the rest of his natural life. He's 19 years old but as always he looks a lot older. He's very sweet and likes eating and lying in the sun. The warmth seems to comfort him.
DONATIONS FOR THUNDER WILL BE APPRECIATED
