OPERATION NEUQUEN

IN THE CITY OF NEUQUEN AN OUTBREAK OF LEISHMANIASIS (a disease caused by protozoan parasites that belong to the genus Leishmania and is transmitted by the bite of certain species of sand fly, including flies in the genus Lutzomyia)  An ordinance was passed by the Neuquen City Council. headed by Francisco Baggio, rechristened Adolph Baggio

Demonstrations all over the country are being organized against this slaughter in the city of Neuquén, capital city of the province of the same name. All this started sort of 2 weeks ago. We want to cover our back because with spring coming soon, leptospirosis and leishmaniasis will be the key to start massive slaughters all over the country.  Last year in the province of Misiones  the authorities broke into people's houses and took dogs out (sick or healthy) and they were all killed, 100,000 have already been massacred (See here for report) There is one case of leishmaniasis in our province in the city of Concordia, and the miscreant vets are moving there to instigate a massive killing plan. We are engaged in this fight now and we do need money, we are planning to travel there because CVFA - Argentina and CVFA-Buenos Aires have been asked to support the demonstration. This is very complicated and very scary; the lives of thousands are in advocates' hands and it's a heavy load

Members of CVFAF-ARGENTINA BUENOS AIRES and other groups gathered in one of the main squares to show their disgust against this genocide. There has been an outbreak of leptospirosis due to lack of eliminating garbage so an area in the city is infected, this is what the government has stated.

According to ALAP (Neuquén group) it is said that this is a sort of "smoke screen" to cover hidden purposes, it is said that the area where the outbreak started is in an area where a new highway will be built, however, this is just a rumour.

CVFAF-ARGENTINA will be holding a demonstration tomorrow, August 1,2010. We have signs and, will also be demonstrating against the fashion show in the same place.
